Thanks Mark. It can be good to clarify that, because these days new forms of the theodicy rejected by the Book of Job - bad things happen to bad people and good things to good people - keeps reemerging in new forms, like extreme mind/body holism where everyone who's physically sick supposedly got that way because of mental/spiritual unwellness. And "prosperity theology."

Within spiritual and psychological life, it's very different - as you state in this post, we really do play a large role in how joyful or unhappy we are.

mark..what if the end result of your happiness is the unhappiness of another...

what if by protecting the happiness of the other, your happiness is diminished as well as the happiness of another?

why does it need to be either black or white?

Lillith Mother,
I think it is important for eveyone to understand stories like yours. The light often does not come on in an instant, however it is always there, we must be ready, we must be willing to let go and trust.
Thanks for your valued thoughts.

Norea,
Many people undervalue themselves and therefore do not feel they are worthy of all that is available to them. Thanks for your thoughts.

Tony,
I agree with you, many people do spend the majority of their time battering away at the external, spending time in an eternal chase that never really ends or satisfies. THanks for your thoughts.
