Getting Stuck On the How

 

How many times in your life have you not tried to do something or procrastinated on doing something because you simply did not know how or couldn’t see how you were going to be able to accomplish what was in front of you? The “how” often times becomes a barrier to what we desire to accomplish, doesn’t it?

In our spiritual journey, often we get caught in the “how”. We say things like, I want to do ____, “I simply don’t see how in my present life situation  that is going to be possible” or “That sounds great, I just don’t know how I can learn to do that” or “I don’t know how I can ever get myself to think that way”. It is so very easy to get stuck on the “how”! The “how” can freeze us in our steps!

The key is we don’t have to know the “how”! The “how” will happen! You must trust that if you really, really, really know what you want and you ask the Universe, your source, God, whatever you prefer to call your higher power, which is within you, that what you ask for will be provided.

“Ask and you shall receive” is one of key wisdom’s of the Universe! Nothing in that wise statement, says anything about you have to figure out the “how” first. The “how” is not important. The “how” is often unseen by us.

Look back at something wonderful that happened in your life or some great accomplishment you achieved, something that you really desired that manifested into reality. Now think back to the first thought of this thing/accomplishment, did you know all of the “how” at the beginning? Did you  have doubts on the “how”? Could you have even imagined all of the events that took place to make this thing happen for you?

 For example, if you have met the love of your life, think about your inital desire to meet someone you could share your life with, did you envision the how, did you know how it would all come to be. Think about how you met him/her, could you have ever put all of the “hows” into place to make everything happen as it did? You know that the answer is, “No”! There is no way you could have known “how” all the things that happened to bring you together would have happened, however it happened anyway didn’t it! You found the love of your life, and the love of your life found you!

See, this is the way it works! You don’t have to know the “how”, you simply have know what you want and ask for it! The “how” will happen!

Are you stuck on the “how” on something today? What would happen if you removed the “how” excuse from your world of thought? Imagine the possibilities!

When you remove the “how” from your thought process, you enter the “miracle zone”, the zone of unlimited possibilities!
